Robert Francis "Bobby" Kennedy (November 20, 1925 – June 6, 1968), commonly known by his initials RFK, was an American politician, who served as a United States Senator for New York from 1965 until his assassination in 1968. I watched as my brother, with Ethel smiling at his side, revived the cheers from his supporters near midnight in the Ambassador Hotel ballroom in Los Angeles. And then I left the party and went to my room at the Fairmont Hotel. There, I turned on the television news again.My mind went black.We arrived around 3 a.m. just before doctors began their surgery to remove what they could of the three bullets fired by Sirhan Sirhan. Bobby died at 1:44 a.m. the next day, June 6, 1968.  -
