Built in 1918, the Luneta Hotel (fronting the Luneta Park) is one of the few remaining structures that survived WWII. It was declared a historical landmark by the National Historical Institute. For the longest time, the Luneta Hotel was abandoned and fell into disrepair, and only a presidential decree kept it from being demolished. Recently, the new owners have taken it upon themselves to rehabilitate the structure and reopen the Luneta Hotel. We shall see if it measures up.
