Henna- a tradition practiced by various cultures, this is used to adorn a woman's body as part of a social or holiday celebration. Henna application in India is known has Mehndi, which is a part of Vedic customs in representing the Outer and Inner Sun. These customs are used to awaken one's "inner light." Typically applied to brides before their wedding ceremonies.
