VICTORIAN EASTER POSTCARD production blossomed in the late 1800’s & early 1900’s & collecting picture postcards was an immensely popular hobby in the early 20th century. This “Golden Age of Postcards” was fostered by technological advances in photography, printing, & mass production. The expansion of Rural Free Delivery brought mail to more American households than ever before. Nearly a billion per year were mailed in United States from 1905 to 1915.
