Tips. Use at least 6 8-ounce jars and never fill more than one half full. Grease the inside of your jars. Wipe out any batter that clings to the sides. Cakes bake faster – check on them. While jars are hot, screw the caps on. They seal! Refrigerate the jars until you’re ready to eat them. Use 2 separate cake batters (chocolate cake and a vanilla cake).
