Lilium Tiger Babies --- This beautiful Asiatic lily blooms late June -early July in my MD yard. Candelabras of out-facing large blooms in a cantaloupe -shell pink mix. Grows 3-4ft. by 18". Mine get 1hr. sun plus 3hrs high shade, are 11 yrs. old & have 12-16 blooms per stem. Healthy, easy, long-lived. z 3-10.
Lilium canadense --- Canada lily is native to eastern North America, in open woodlands, forest edges, & damp meadows. Likes dappled shade & a moist loamy or sandy soil. Grows 3-4ft. with nodding bells, yellow to orange to red, in June. Site it on a hillside or raised bed so you can see its spotted blooms. Attracts hummingbirds, but also deer. z 3-9
Lilium Black Beauty --- Raspberry with white edges & a green center. Not just lovely, but very tough, pest -resistant, and long -lived. Does well in part shade; mine get 2 hrs. sun & 2hrs. high shade. Puts out several stems & spreads quickly, so plant 18" apart. 4-6ft., zones 4-10.
