Ackee and Saltfish - the national dish of Jamaica - ackee grows on trees and if eaten before ripe, is toxic.  cooked, canned ackee has the consistency (and look) of soft scrambled eggs and it's delicious when prepared the traditional Jamaican way with sweet and scotch bonnet peppers, tomatoes, onions, spices and saltfish.  add a side of coco bread, sliced avacado and some tropical juice and you've got the perfect breakfast

Some say it aids the male's stamina in the bedroom [hence the name]. :) Can be cooked indoors...but ah....sooo much better when cooked outdoors over a fire. And the aroma...delish. Although the entire thing is tasty, the best part to me is di 'battam a di pot'!
