used my dremel to cut the handles off of each spoon. Here are the spoon's bowls cut from the handles. Thats it, now they are ready to be altered into charms. I'm keeping the handles to make into something-- not to sure what just yet.
I'd love this necklace more if it was silversmithed (handmade) from real antique silverware. But as an affordable alternative this silver plated jewellery inspired by silverware patterns from the 1800s and early 1900s is still very cute.
Spoon necklaces! A simple stamping set and a sharpie marker and you can make some very original spoon jewelry. I think these would meka e great garden markers as well-- just stick the spoon handle into the soil.
