The following pediatrician’s commentary attacking vaccine religious exemptions was published by Raleigh’s News & Observer on February 24, 2012. As the N&O failed to publish my response, I’m publishing it here, where truth is welcome, following the pediatrician’s article immediately below.
RJKennedy Jr wrote this article on the meningitis vaccine - which doesn't protect against serotype B, the most common serotype. Trying to prevent N.meningitis with a vaccine is like wearing a bullet-proof vest at ALL times, to protect against a stray bullet. Difference is, vest wearing doesn't have a long list of side effects that come with this vaccine
