Tea in the Park. Edward Cucuel (American, Impressionism, 1875-1954). Oil on canvas. In 1912 Cucuel successfully exhibited some of his works in Paris. His paintings resemble the French impressionists as to colour and motif. His favourite motifs are portraits of women and nudes in bright interiors, plein-air-representations with social scenes, and Bavarian landscapes.
