slow cooker red lentil dal recipe (vegan and gluten-free) via - good, i used mustard seeds, fennel seeds, a black cardamom and a bit of asafoetida / hing fried in mustard oil. came out well, needed more water and LOTS of salt
Thick, creamy, saucy red curry lentils ----I made this with red lentils - seasoned it with salt at the end, and stirred in an extra cup coconut milk just prior to serving - Thought it was YUMMY as - and now our hair, clothes and house smell like curry ;-)
Review...DELICIOUS! I will make this again and again! In an effort to keep my diet vegetarian, I opted for vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. I also changed out the spinach for kale and used regular and white sweet potatoes instead of Yukon.
