Hebron Lutheran Church, Madison Co. VA. The Broyles/Briles family Who came to America in 1717 and first lived at Germanna Colony were part of the congregation. Built in 1740-oldest Lutheran church in the USA continually in use. One of the builders was the brother of our ancestor who went to North Carolina when he was grown and had a family. I did have a history book of the church and a commemorative plate but it was stolen with our other family histories.
