I chose this image because it confronts multiple stereotypes and negates all of them: Being British does not equal being very prim and proper, Being a female does not equal wanting to be sexualized, Being a Muslim does not equal being a terrorist, and Being a gay man does not equal being effeminate. It's important to realize that we cannot fit people into molds because they will always be misrepresented
Men in ballet can become very successful after many years of training and practice. Blood sweat and tears are pour into this art form of dance and in the end, because it is a form of dance they are labeled "gay". True or not, this form of dance is difficult and is a true display of skill, but because dancing Is often associated with women, men lose their masculinity when they decide to do it. True forms of strength are shown in beating down an opponent, not dancing next to them.
Rock some of the ’70s greatest hits. Like dresses? There’s a bold- print peasant maxi (oh so boho), and a lightweight crinkle-chiffon in amber yellow—the decade’s hottest hue. Then to finish off your look, aim high in a pair of platforms and round shades. The outfits don’t include “Hustle” moves, but that’s probably a good thing.
