The cream cheese gives this a bit of a sweet tangy taste you dont have in most salsa dips. Pick a salsa you like since that is where most of the flavor comes from. If you like a hotter taste you can always add additional hot sauce. I recommend using a crock pot to keep it warm while serving.
Have not tried: Rotel Corn Dip, aka cowboy crack.. One drained can white corn, 1 block cream cheese, and 1 almost drained can of Rotel. I put it in a glass bowl and microwave it one minute at a time till hot and melted. Serve with Scoop Fritos and keep warm in a small crockpot.

Party guests will delight in these easy, pumpkin pie appetizers! Start by cutting cheese into triangle-shaped wedges to fit your Triscuit Thin Crisps, then use the cream cheese as the "glue" to assemble the Triscuit Thin Crisps, Chicken in a Biskit crackers, and pretzel sticks into pieces of pie. Zannie's black eyed pea dip from The Pioneer Woman. Use only a tiny bit of onion, diced crazily finely. Sub in up to 50% refried beans. Increase sour cream by half, no jalapeños unless you dice small &/or know your crowd. Use about 1.5c cheese, must be home-grated. Go easy on hot sauce if it's a varied crowd.
