DIY Scented Holiday Ornament ~ a great family project! Cinnamon gives out such a wonderful smell & it will tint your flour a nice old fashioned-look color. You can even paint it or add food coloring to mixture. To make the 'ribbon hole' to hang ~ before baking, make a 'hole' in the mixture & use rolled up foil ball to 'keep the shape', then bake. After ornaments have cooled, remove foil ball, scrape out any extra remnants inside the hole. String your ribbon through & hang on tree or window!

Family Feedbag: Gingerbread Apple Pie ~ a classic apple pie with a gingerbread pastry crust! What fun is this! To close the gingerbread deal, the top crust was assembled with individual pastry gingerbread men, cut with a cookie cutter, holding hands around the pie. The cuteness is almost too much.
