Bukchon Village - Bukchon Hanok Village is a quaint neighborhood where hanok (traditional Korean houses) encompass the areas of Gahoe-dong, Jae-dong, and Samcheong-dong in central Seoul. Bukchon has been a traditional residential district for more than 600 years and remains today to be one of the most beautiful areas of the city.
Traditional Korean Performance - The 'buk' (북) is a shallow barrel-shaped drum with a wooden body and played with bukchae (북채), or drumsticks. The drum was used in both folk and court music, each having their own style of playing.
