1953 Chevrolet Corvette Retro Metal Sign 16 x 24 Inches
US Stamp - From its public unveiling in January 1953 at the GM Motorama in New York City, the Chevrolet Corvette captured the public's imagination with its sleek styling and sense of fun. A marked departure from other GM designs, its sporty appearance promised speed and high performance. Only 300 cars were produced in 1953, all hand-built in Flint, Michigan, and painted white with a red interior and a black convertible top. (General Motors Corvette Trademarks used under license to the USPS.)
