Chloe- The way I painted this week was not how I would normally paint. I went out of my comfort zone, took risks & didn't think about it too much. I experimented with lines (mostly wavy/ondulado), shapes & forms (circles, squares, rectangles & organic for leaves), colours (warm & cool), I also used repetition (circles and lines). I like the leaves, coloured boxes & circles in the top left corner. This week I felt happy with my progress. The tools used were paintbrushes, sponges & a spray…

Laura - For my second layer, I blended cool colours on the canvas with lighter & darker sections. I also used a spray bottle to reveal a section of the first layer & let the water run down the canvas.

i added the first coat of cool colours, using a spray bottle I dripped them into an angled direction. I used a wet sponge to keep the red down the bottom.

Rhianna this painting has been coloured in warm colours, in this painting I used many tools for example, foam brushes, rollers, fingers and spray bottles. I think that this painting is busy, because it has a lot going on and its hard to look at one thing because there is too much going on.

Jaimee - In my second layer I covered half of the first layer with warm colours. Techniques I used was to use the spray bottle and I used my fingers.

Laura - This is my third layer, I think? For this layer I re-did the cool section of the canvas by blending the colours together using the side of my hand & a spray bottle. After that I added a infinity/eternity symbol that will be filled in the next few lessons.

This is the finished product of my painting, I prefer this painting over my other one as I think it is less crowded. I have used many techniques in this painting such as using the spray bottle and my hands. A part of the painting that I love is down in the right hand corner their is a section that I love the combination of colours.
