The wall is too high for the child to pour water in the top but I love the idea. I love the bottle that has the ball in it in the top middle of the pic. Mine is going to have bottles etc that the children can move around themselves using garden ties. Its built and working, need a box of more things to use. It drains into a long window box type planter so water can be saved at the bottom
