I've lost almost 5 pounds in the last week and a half doing this, and I don't even follow it as strictly as most. Just no grains, dairy, refined sugars, or processed food and I'm already seeing results. I also feel better!
Sweet Potato and Kale Hash with a Fried Egg. This is a favorite--for breakfast OR dinner. We have modified it a bit-- - No bell pepper (ew, why distract from the already so delicious??) - 1 shallot for up to 4 sweet potatoes - If shallot-less, sub with 1 clove minced garlic. - Cook until sweet potatoes are BROWNED, adding more oil periodically, before adding the kale at the end Then ENJOY.
