Hottie HoF. Remembering John-John (JFK Jr.) I once stood arm to arm next to him on a East Side bus ride! Gorgeous, privileged and famous, he tried to live as much like a regular person, as was possible. He overcame the challenges of life in the fishbowl of the public eye, as the dyslexic son of a POTUS, and also as a child of the most famous, single mom in the world. I totally respected him for that. His life played out like a classic, Greek tragedy. He passed away, 17 years ago today. RIP
Sophia Loren, survivor and acting legend, photographed by Angelo Frontoni (1967). "There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age." Brava, Sophia.
