this would be great in the classroom - make the graph on the carpet and have your students work together to find the shapes -or- colors, things that start with letters (A- alligator, airplane, apple...), number groups (2 cars, 2 legos, 2 dolls...)
Block Puzzles for busy bag - Love the open ended quality to this! The lack of defining lines allows children to really explore shape, conservation, and quantity themes in a very creative manner! Can't wait to try it!!
Use a tissue box, a hole punch and a shoelace for a practical life skill practice and a fine motor activity in one! Like so many things (for both kids and adults) learning on a small scale can make it hard to see what's really going on. If you blow it up and break it down, everything gets a lot easier.
