A mixed media vintage style canvas featuring a photo print of an Edwardian Shakespearean actress. I used muslin draped around the canvas, flowers and trims from The Hobby House, paper clay from Tonic and papers from Create and Craft club members website. #vintage #papercraft #craft
Made from a Craftwork Cards image that I coloured in and added with pearls in the centre of some of the flowers. The corner flowers were made from Tonic's paper clay, they were my first attempt and as a result a bit chunkier than they should be. X
Pieces made using Tonic's paper clay and various moulds I have in my stash. It's a wet clay that when dries is as light as paper and can even be cut into or 'trimmed' with scissors. A little peculiar but great fun. Just let it dry off a bit before you put it into the moulds and use cornflower or talc to help take the moisture out. Like other types of wet clay if it's too wet then it will just stick to the moulds.
A card I made from bits in my stash. I made the wreath by cutting it out with two different sized circle dies and used swirls that I had snipped off another die whilst doing another project. The flowers were premade. The background is a 50s retro style pattern that looks like stars at times (can't remember where the folder came from). Finished off with a bow, a charm and pearls. X
I inked the background with Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud inks in Frosty Aqua and Frosty Blue. I created the scruffy stripes by dragging the Creative Expression Smoothies across the page. The paper flowers are from Craftwork Cards Serenity collection.
