ITEC North East Tutor Michelle McGuire was thrilled and suprised to receive flowers from Ellie Franklin in thanks for her "support, re-assurance and positive insights" whilst studying for her Advanced Business Administration Apprenticeship. Ellie works as an Apprentice Receptionist at West Cornforth Medical Centre. Through some difficult times she credits her "amazing" tutor for "developing a positive working relationship". ITEC North East Apprentice Tim Hutton being presented with his Apprenticeship Achievement Award by ITEC tutor Tony Grainger, nominated by his tutor Dawn Skelton for commitment in completing Level 2 ITP qualification, after original employer ceased trading. Tim volunteered to a former colleague’s business and a local charity to complete his Apprenticeship. Originally Tim’s Asperger’s affected his confidence and social skills but now he’s “buzzing” with plans for the future and a new career…

Within months of starting his Intermediate Business Administration Apprenticeship with Stockton based Mobile Mini, Macauley Underwood (18) was dealing with some of their largest clients, training new apprentices and successfully securing a promotion. Asking lots of questions and volunteering for extra work, his enthusiasm and quest for knowledge are appreciated, and recognised, by his supervisor and colleagues throughout the national network of depots.
