Evening gown, Mme. Ernest Ltd., ca. 1910. Cinnamon gauze silk and satin evening gown with elaborate woven label to bodice waist, the separate bodice with lace chemisette, elaborately embroidered waistband, and metal thread-wrapped buttons, beads and rosettes. The internal tulle camisole has elasticated silk straps, the pink satin hobble skirt has a deep, boned inner waistband, the draped gauze veiling forming drapes at the side. Kerry Taylor Auctions.
