This flower, rafflesia amoldi , is the largest flower in the world. The corpse flower, which appears larger, is actually made up of many smaller flowers. The rafflesia amoldi plant's blooms can be over three tall. The plant exudes a pungent smell and has no leaves, stems or roots. The large center can hold six to seven quarts of water.
