Bay Window | Recycling the Past This window was salvaged from a 19th century estate in upstate New York. It features the ornate craftsmanship of days gone by. Included are 3 double-hung windows with arched frames. All Victorian detail is intact: unusual items like this are hardly ever on the market today. With a little sanding and scraping, this window is ready to install into new construction or a restoration project.

The bathroom in a renovated 19th-century homestead in New York features rustic touches, like a bath tub wrapped in salvaged wood, to contrast the modern, minimal shower. Photo by: Mark Mahaney
