Elvis & Cissy Houston Las Vegas 1969.  Cissy is the founder of the "Sweet Inspirations" - back up singers for Elvis' Vegas shows - and the mother of Whitney.  After those shows, Houston says, 'we would jam with him for an hour, singing gospel. He really loved it, had a feel for it and was tickled to have four 'church sisters' backing him up'. - High voice singer, Kathy Westmoreland, was hired to step in for the Vegas shows when Cissy left - and her two week temporary stint lasted 7 years.
