Necklace with old kuchi and turkoman elments, buttons, indian metalbeads, and 6 Aventurine beads. 3 of the stones was missing from the kuchi dangles, so I replaced them with 2 red Swarovski, and 1 AB yellow Swaroski crystals. Aventurine has been used as a lucky talisman and is a popular stone for gamblers. Legends say that it is an all-purpose healer, used to reduce stress, develop confidence, imagination and improve prosperity.
The patina of the ancient roman coins, the medieval buttons, and the rusty medieval fire maker pendant gives rustic atmosphere to this fabulous necklace, and shows the many-many hundreds of years of these adornments.
