Carpet Shampoo Solution: 1 cup oxiclean* 1 cup febreeze* 1 cup distilled white vinegar *The homemade versions work fabulously! Pour contents into shampooer tub and mix with hot water to fill tub completely. This will not only clean your carpets it will also deodorize. It will smell slightly of vinegar until the carpet is dry. Be sure to test spot with the solution just to be safe, however this should be safe for ALL carpets.

Two Ingredients -DIY Disposal Cleaner Ingredients: 1/2 cup lemon juice1/2 cup baking soda -Directions: Heat lemon juice in microwave for 30 seconds. Add baking soda slowly (it will bubble) and mix well. Turn on the disposal and pour down the drain. Turn on hot water for a few seconds to rinse away any mix remaining in the sink or the bowl. Use weekly. If disposal still has a bad odor, repeat.
To get rid of any carpet stains... Love this cleaning idea, I have been using it for a while now but I don't vacuum the baking soda up just use the liquid solution first, then sprinkle the baking soda on the stain liberally, wait for it to dry on its own and then vacuum..... stain mysteriously disappears by simona.
Carpet cleaner. I used it and it works very well. You'd think with the peroxide that it would bleach the carpet out, but I was at that point with my carpet (it needs to be replaced but we don't have the $$$) where it didn't matter either way. It works! Then I went over it with my steam mop. My carpet definitely looks better!!!
I SERIOUSLY need to do this! Wash towels in 1 Cup of vinegar on hot, then again with 1/2 cup of baking soda on hot. I just pulled them out of the washer to move to the dryer and my towels smell 10 times better. Apparently I didnt realize how musty and gross my towels were smelling!--- I should try this!
