Each year we offer work experience placements to students from local schools. The students get an insight into how departments operate. In the second part we challenge them with completing a specific project which gives the participants a hands-on experience in design, mechanical, electronics, programming, team work and presentation skills. This year the students' task was to build a line following robot. Here's the result of their hard work. They called it A.L.F. (Autonomous Live Follower).
