#ArapahoeCC student Leah Porter earned Guistwhite Scholar (just 15 nationwide honorees) and Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Gold Scholar honors during the Spring 2017 semester.  She will receive a combined $6,500 in scholarship monies towards her baccalaureate studies and be recognized at the 2017 Phi Theta Kappa Annual Convention. #MoveMountainsACC #MyNextMountain

Congrats to recent ACC graduate / former Auto Tech student Shane Sims for taking third place and earning a Bronze Medal at the 2013 SkillsUSA national competition in Kansas City (June 24-28).    Sims is also a two-time champion (2012 and 2013) in both the District SkillsUSA and Colorado SkillsUSA competitions.  Sims placed fifth at the national competition in 2012.    Way to go, Shane!
