MICHAEL MARKOWICZ, received his BA in History and Political Science at CCSU and his JD from Harvard. Markowicz is a member of the Murtha Cullina law firm. However, most recently, Markowicz's greatest accomplishment been in being appointed as the town of Meriden's New Corporation Counsel. The role of the Corporation Counsel is to serve as legal counsel to the city's elected and appointed officials.

A 1992 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, DOUGLAS LEICHNER was a four-year letterman, three-year starter and served as captain as a senior. Leichner received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Connecticut and in 1985 earned his master’s in history from Western Connecticut. Formerly the University of Maine men’s basketball associate head coach, Leichner was named the head coach of the Great Britain Under-20 men’s national team in 2013.
U.S. Representative JOHN B. LARSON began serving in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1999, and is presently in his eighth term serving the people of Connecticut's First Congressional District.
