Creating Warped Text

When working with the Text tool click on the Warp Text icon ( looks like a curved T with a curved underline) in the options bar, this will open the Warp Text Window where you can apply different distortions to your text. These distortions are non-destructive, and you can always come back and make further adjustments.

Apply The Puppet Warp As A Smart Filter

The Puppet Warp tool (Edit > Puppet Warp) is a great way to have more control over image distortion. If you convert the layer into a Smart Object it will then apply the Puppet Warp non-destructively by allowing you to access the distortion control points even after you have applied the distortion!

You can then edit the curve or press OK to apply it. This does not work when creating a Curves adjustment layer.
