This Great Northern Railway poster was produced in 1913 to promote its success as the shortest and quickest route from London to Yorkshire. It encouraged rail travel making everyone and their dog feeling welcome. The text reads “Every dog has his day, By GNR let’s haste away”. On the platform is a small dog tethered to its owners collection of suitcases and all are responsibly tagged with address labels waiting for the train. Artwork by Lionel D Edwards.
