The grand staircase of the RMS Olympic in 1912. Although no photographs are known to exist of the RMS Titanic's grand staircase, this image helps to give a feel for what it was like.

The Aft Grand Staircase aboard RMS Olympic, Titanic’s sister-ship, as seen from A Deck. Titanic’s Aft Grand Staircase was similar to this, the main differences being two additional staterooms on A Deck (one room was occupied by Thomas Andrews, the other by Father Francis Browne), and a Reception Room for the A la Carte Restaurant on B Deck. The Aft Grand Staircase was essentially a smaller and slightly less elegant version of the famous Forward Grand Staircase.
