LOGAN COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL THE STORY: The Logan County Memorial Hospital located at the intersection of 19th street and Warner avenue in Guthrie, Oklahoma was built in 1946 and shut down in the late 1960's. Residents say this abandoned building is rumored to be haunted. An apparition has been seen in third-floor windows. A general, very strong feeling of fear, doom and terror is present at the hospital, and according to witnesses becomes incredibly strong when photographs are taken.

Loretto Academy - In 1901 the Sisters of Loretto purchased 5 acres on Broadway near 35th. The home was converted into a convent but was quickly outgrown. In September, 1902, they laid the foundation of the this larger building. A tragic fire occurred in 1909 at a Halloween party where three students lost their lives when a paper dress became ignited by a candle-lighted jack-o-lantern. Today it occupies a 38-acre site on Wornall Road at 124th, and was sold to Calvary Bible College in 1964.
