There are a handful of skilled photographers who existed in the west during the years what it was still wild. L.A. Huffman is one of them. This is a colorized version of a working group of cowboys in the open, untouched landscape outside Miles, Montana in 1886. This colorized version is part of the Douglas Kenyon Collection. For anyone interested in him and his work, there is a well done book containing his story and hundreds of his photographs.
