Glass Beach, FOrt Bragg, North Carolina. I want to visit this place someday! This ocean coast used to be a dump and now it's a protected state park but all the glass thrown into the ocean has now been beaten and returned to shore as sea glass!
At almost 40 feet tall and five tons, this tilted-by-design sculpture does not provide a single drop to fight fires. But it's the largest of three contenders for the biggest hydrant title.
