SHAMPOO! •1 C Dr. Bonner’s Liquid Castile Soap (unscented) •1 C Vegetable Glycerin •1 Tbsp Almond or Jojoba oil (Jojoba is more moisturizing and I prefer it in the winter) •15-20 drops of Essential Oils (lav, lemon (oily scalp) and cedarwood (dry scalp)

The likelihood of either of those things happening is as high as receiving a marriage proposal from Nick Jonas in the mail. (Read: Zero) That being said, if you’re like me and you want your own perfume, you don’t need to abandon that dream completely. You can create your own fragrance yourself at home. Really.

Homemade deodorant using Young Living Essential Oils. I love this recipe. I put it in a roll-on. It has worked SO well during the summer months. 10 drops purification, clary sage, 5 drops frankincense, lemon, cedarwood, and lavender. Kick up the lavender if you'd like. Top with as much carrier oil as preferred. I used about 1/4 bottle of a 2oz roll-on. www.allinadrop.com
