Beautiful Avro Lancaster. Considered Britain's greatest bomber for WW2. Main aircraft used for night assaults on Germany. Four engines allow the plane to fly at 462km/h, and the heavy bomber delivered a bigger bombload than any other plane in Europe- 6350kgs to be exact. One of my familys favourite planes.
Big Ben by Michael Breitung on 500px The dramatic light of the last photo I posted was followed by a short but heavy downpour. I had to run for cover which I found at this beautiful location. A street musician was playing guitar and I had a nice an dry place to take the last photo of the evening as the light slowly faded.
The Camden Stables Market in London, consists of a group of 19th century horse stables, horse hospital, workshops, warehouses and vaults, all connected by cobbled lanes, with it's various levels connected by ramps. It all started in 1854 when, due to the increase in rail freight, more and more horses were required to haul the Pickford distribution waggons round the streets of London and to tow the heavy barges, up and down the Regents Canal in North London.
