Mee-Hae Ryo (1967) is a S.Korean cellist. She began playing cello at age 6 and received lessons through her middle and high school years. She attended Juilliard and graduated from the School of Music at the University of Michigan, where she earned a doctorate. After she won the British Aberdeen Chamber Festival, the Korean Joong-Ang Ilbo Competition of Music, and the Young Artists Music Competition in Fort Collins, Colorado, she performed extensively across the United States and Europe.
