Fossilized Fibonacci-Everywhere in nature there is evidence of applied mathematics, design and order that requires an intelligent mind. Where there is a mind there is a body, a person. In this case, a spirit body that humans cannot see. Why are so many reluctant to acknowledge we have a Creator? Perhaps, it is difficult for us to acknowledge God, because once we do, we are admitting there is someone who has the right to govern us.

An abalone is a very large sea snail. Abalones are a different shape to most snails - they have a wide, flat shell. You can still see the spiral shape in their shell. Abalones are caught and eaten as food, and their shells are used to make jewellery.

I like really old shells too - like 40 or 50 millions years old. I have several nice amonites. -CAB

Sphenodiscus lenticularis, Fox Hills Formation, South Dakota. Late Cretaceous (~ 70 mya). Both sides of this handsome specimen display the extraordinarily intricate suture patterns that are characteristic of this species. Also evident is part of the beautifully iridescent nacreous layer. A laterally flattened ammonite, this animal is thought to have been a relatively fast swimmer.
