Soapwalla was born in founder Rachel Winard’s NYC kitchen after months of searching for products that wouldn’t aggravate her sensitive skin issues. Soapwalla products are pure, effective and trustworthy and they partner with small farms to ensure they have the best materials as possible, without compromising their integrity or dedication to the environment. Soapwalla products are made by hand in small batches in Brooklyn, never tested on animals and not filled with questionable additives.
The Japanese WASARA tableware above literally has to be seen to be believed. It is so so beautiful. Made from a combination of reed, bamboo and bagasse (sugercane waste product), it feels soft and velvety, it holds your food / liquid for one-time-use… and it is completely compost-able afterwards.
