Many People are fond of #LadyBugs because of their colorful, spotted appearance, but most #gardeners love them for their appetite!  Lady Bugs feed on #pests in #gardens. Their favorites are #aphids; however, they will eat #spider #mites, #mealybug, and #scale as well. A single Lady Bug may eat as many as 5,000 aphids in it's lifetime.  When releasing Lady Bugs into your garden, wet down the foliage of the plant near the release point. Release them at sundown as they will not fly away.
