TEEX in the News -  ROCKFORD IL- More than 30 people, from more than a dozen Stateline agencies, attended a risk assessment seminar on Thursday, which featured instructors from Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. "Members of Texas Task Force 1 were expected to leave College Station early Tuesday after being activated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to respond to Tropical Storm Isaac. 80 members of the Texas Task Force 1 will stage in a designated area to respond where assistance is requested."

TEEX recently hosted 23 distinguished guests from Japan for a tour of the Brayton Fire Training Field, Emergency Operations Training Center, hazmat training area and Disaster City®.     The team was  here scouting an emergency response training provider for a potential workforce of nearly 1.8 million responders, most of these being volunteers.

We are happy to announce that Al Davis has been named to serve as Deputy Director of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).   A 27-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Davis holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern University, an MBA from Averett University and a Master of Science degree from the National Defense University, Industrial College of the Armed Forces.  #TEEX #NDPC #NCPC
