The last living search and rescue dog who worked at Ground Zero trying to find survivors in the days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks passed away Monday at 16 years old. Bretagne, a Golden Retriever, also worked with her handler, Denise Corliss, to search for victims after Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita and other disasters.
And sad.........For the past 6 years, a dog named Capitán has slept on the grave of his owner every night. His owner, Miguel Guzmán died in 2006 and Capitán disappeared shortly after the service. This story is so similar to 'Greyfriars Bobby' in Glasgow

This is so beautiful. I've read this before, but stumbling upon this now for the second time, had me tearing up all over again. Such a beautiful tribute and the love for his best mate is clearly written all over the handler's face here :'(
