Happy New Year!!  I've been holed up at home with the flu for the last 10 days and I'm going a little stir crazy. Luckily I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm now ready for 2015!  Here is an image from one of my favorite locations Ocracoke. One that I hope to return to this year. What a great place to relax and rejuvenate. Here's to discovering more places like this in 2015.  I wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2015!

If the sunsets and sunrises aren't interesting, you can always look forward to shooting the night sky. This was my favorite Milky Way images from this night. Went spent a few hours walking around the tufa formations playing with different Milky Way compositions. There were plenty of other night sky photographers out but, thankfully there weren't crowds of them shining lights…
