Józef Haller von Hallenburg (August 13, 1873 – June 4, 1960) was a Lieutenant General of the Polish Army, a legionary in the Polish Legions, harcmistrz (the highest Scouting instructor rank in Poland), the President of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP), and a political and social activist. He was the cousin of Stanisław Haller de Hallenburg. When the Great War broke out it was a sign to mobilize Polish patriotic paramilitary organizations.

Warsaw Uprising participants had elements of captured german arms and uniforms. Some polish uniforms, especcialy helmets, are taken from hides. They were left by polish defenders in 1939 and waited for next fight. There were also some british and soviet stuff and of course civilian clothes. Polish eagles and white and red colours were added to this mix of uniforms.
