My newest bird feeder. I purchased a chicken feeder base that screws into a qt canning jar. The bottom is a cake plate siliconed in place. The top is two pieces. The small cut glass was a pedestal candy dish with hardware removed & convenient hole in the middle. The other piece was a vintage glass ceiling light, also with a hole in the middle. I connected them with an eye bolt with lock washers and nuts on top & bottom and in between. Then glued this to the jar with outdoor silicone.
